About The Role
Portfolio Data Analysts serve as the primary point of contact for data feed builds, managing client and provider relationships while conducting data analysis and testing. They work in partnership with Data Engineers to ensure data feeds are accurately built, tested, and delivered to clients. Please note: applicants must have, and maintain the right to work in Poland to be considered. A background check is required to be completed prior to the first day of work.
What You’ll Do
Client Management: Primary point of contact for all communication with data providers and clients throughout the feed build process, from initial phases through go-live Data Analysis: Conducting data research and analysis, with flexible task assignments based on availability Testing & Verification: • Running regression tests and analyzing results • Driving client verification and managing client interactions Feed Operations: • Updating security and transaction type mappings to the Addepar standards • Reconciling day over day transaction impact with recorded position changes • Managing feed handoffs to Data Onboarding and Data Operations teams • Updating Salesforce product pages Collaboration: Regular syncs with Data Engineers (typically 15-minute catchups twice weekly), with cadence adjusted based on project needs
What You’ll Bring
• 2-3 years experience in investment-oriented roles (Investment Ops Analyst, Data Operations Analyst, Corporate Action Analyst) • Experience with data workflow and analysis tools • Track record of effective problem-solving abilities • Strong data analysis skills / experience, with the ability to independently investigate large sets of data to determine common issues and interpret the content • Self-motivation and strong team-player mentality • Strong logical thinking and ability to communicate technical concepts Financial Knowledge: • Understanding of financial concepts (Bonds, Equities, Forward FX, Options, Money Market Instruments) • Ability to calculate profit/loss, understand dividends, day count conventions, and accrued interest • Familiarity with options (calls and puts)
