About Ostro

At Ostro, our mission is to help millions of people live healthier lives by being the missing, caring link between those who make medicines, treatments, and diagnostics, and those who take them. We create personalized healthcare journeys that boost engagement and drive improved value for consumers, HCPs, and life sciences brands.

About The Role

Ostro is a fast-growing SaaS company that builds innovative marketing software for the pharmaceutical industry. Our platform integrates seamlessly into customer websites, providing robust functionality to engage users effectively. We are committed to delivering high-quality, reliable software, and we are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to help us maintain and elevate our standards. We are seeking a methodical and detail-oriented QA Engineer. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a critical thinker, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should be excited to explore new testing methodologies, AI-driven tools, and LLM-based approaches to enhance our QA processes and improve software quality. You should be disciplined in your approach to problem-solving and able to take initiative without constant oversight.

What You’ll Do

•Partner closely with the Implementation team throughout the full project lifecycle — from initial configuration through go-live — to ensure each client deployment meets quality standards before launch. •Execute manual testing of the company's overlay tool across client pharmaceutical websites, validating functionality, display accuracy, and compliance with project requirements. •Develop and maintain test cases and test plans tailored to each client implementation, documenting findings and tracking defects through resolution. •Become a subject matter expert in the company's proprietary configuration platform, using it to understand how the tool is built and configured for each client in order to test effectively. •Collaborate with Implementation Managers and Configurators to identify, reproduce, and communicate bugs or inconsistencies, ensuring issues are clearly documented and prioritized. •Validate that client-specific configurations align with requirements and design specifications, flagging discrepancies early in the process. •Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, testing standards, and documentation practices within the Implementation team.

What You’ll Bring

•3+ years of software quality assurance experience •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Interest in AI/ML-based testing solutions and a willingness to experiment with innovative testing methodologies. •Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and take initiative in solving challenges without constant supervision. •Experience working with cross-functional teams, particularly implementation and customer support teams, to resolve issues and ensure successful deployments. **This is a part time role, 10-20 hours a week to start.***
