About Objectionly

The Story Behind Objectionly

Garrett ran a sales recruiting business for 4 years that was acquired in April 2025. After placing 500 reps into different teams, he noticed that placing the best sales talent into teams wasn’t the only thing that made a sales team wildly successful.

When he placed a rep onto a team with 1 sales manager leading 10+ reps, the rep wouldn’t hit their numbers. Yet on other teams, the same rep would outperform everyone. This led Garrett to interview 100+ sales leaders. The result? Teams consistently hitting KPIs were doing 20+ hours of call review, and hated how time consuming it was but couldn’t find another solution.

So he built Objectionly - not built by Silicon Valley engineers - but a kid who knocked doors in 5th grade to make money who’d been in sales his whole life. Garrett wanted sales leaders to save time and have their teams hit their numbers.

About The Role

Objectionly is an AI sales-call analytics platform. We integrate with the call-recording tools sales teams already use, listen to every call, and turn them into objection tracking, scoring, and coaching, plus AI roleplay where reps practice against realistic, industry-specific AI prospects. We're live with paying customers, growing steadily, and funded to build out the team. We're a lean team of two co-founders. This is the second engineering hire, and the person who takes it will help build the systems that carry us from early traction to scale. We're bringing on an engineer to convert into a founding engineer and scale with Objectionly. You'll work closely with both co-founders, own features end-to-end, and ship fast on a small team where the work you do is the product: no bureaucracy, no tickets handed down, real ownership.

What You’ll Do

• Backend services that process tens of thousands of calls a day: the transcription, scoring, and AI pipelines behind the product. \ • Full-stack features across our web app: dashboards, billing, and AI roleplay. • New integrations with call-recording and CRM platforms (OAuth, webhooks, data ingestion), often the difference between landing an enterprise deal or not. • Taking features from concept to production with minimal hand-holding.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong across a modern full-stack, ideally C#/.NET and TypeScript/React, or the ability to ramp fast on one side. • Comfortable owning features end-to-end and creating structure where none exists. • Solid with relational databases, with PostgreSQL a plus. • A genuine startup builder who likes wearing many hats, shipping fast, and building something to be proud of. • Bonus: AI/LLM feature work, real-time systems, or sales/CRM integration experience.
