About Marker Learning
Marker Learning aims to make learning disability assessments and diagnoses easier and more affordable for schools and parents. By leveraging proprietary technology developed by leading experts at Johns Hopkins, the end-to-end evaluation is completed in half the time and at 1/10th the cost of typical in-person evaluations. Marker’s licensed psychologists are specially trained to work with children and adults up to age 50. We conduct both initial evaluations and re-evaluations for a wide range of learning and attention disorders such as: Dyslexia, ADHD, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and auditory & language processing disorders - all in a remote setting.

We are looking for a software engineer that will help with implementing features and improve our codebase on our platform that supports our evaluation and report automation process.

We are looking for a software engineer that will help with implementing features and improve our codebase on our platform that supports our evaluation and report automation process.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with a small and mighty team of engineers to build and hone the platform that supports our report generation for evaluations.
- Collaborate on design and implementation of new features and improve our platform efficiency and reliability
- Collaborate cross-functionally (product, operations, product and design) to understand the needs of external and internal users and identity high impact projects
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science (or equivalent field) or relevant technical experience
- 3+ years of product software engineering experience in a product development team as part of an agile team
- Experience with backend languages and web frameworks (e.g. Python and Django)
- Experience with relational DBs and data modeling
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
