About The Role

Stake is the MENA region’s most exciting real estate fintech company, combining real estate expertise and innovative financial technology to deliver products that empower everyone to own and build wealth through Real Estate. Launched in 2021 we have grown rapidly, leveraging decades of experience in technology, financial services and global real estate, to launch the MENA region’s first mobile app for fractional real estate investing.

What You’ll Do

Help create an infrastructure that underpins a world-class API to power our mobile and web applications. Optimize developer experience and workflows to ensure a smooth development process. Champion our testing infrastructure, which should underpin all our technology operations. Continue to build our cloud infrastructure using Amazon Web Services and Oracle Cloud. Work with vendors and 3rd parties (e.g. cyber security and monitoring), keeping yourself and the company on the cutting edge of what is possible. Help us expand to our countries and regions within MENA, which might require infrastructure changes depending on each market. Build, develop, and maintain automation, monitoring, and reporting tools. We iterate small and often - we do around 15 deployments per week with a small team. We work in 2-week sprints in cross-functional squads

What You’ll Bring

At least 5+ years experience in a similar role within a startup environment Amazon Web Services (AWS) or a similar cloud provider (certifications are valued in this process) We use ECR, ECS, S3, EC2, Cloudfront, RDS, GuardDuty, etc. GitHub actions or similar Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar) Strong understanding of network concepts such as VPC, Security Groups, etc, and how to maintain that in a production environment. Docker and Linux Kubernetes for orchestration and management of Docker containers at scale Monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or similar technologies to ensure high availability and performance of applications Log management and analysis tools like Splunk, CloudWatch, or Datadog for troubleshooting and monitoring system health Scripting (bash or others) BONUS: Experience in Oracle Cloud BONUS: Laravel, Expo, React Native
