About Theorycraft Games

Based out of Seattle & Los Angeles, Theorycraft Games is an independent game studio looking to make deep, 10,000-hour games that are intended for play with friends.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will possess: * 5+ years of experience working as a software engineer or DevOps using modern technology (L2 / 3-5 yoe okay - more about skill than strict YOE) * 5+ years of experience with Python (L2 / 3-5 yoe okay - more about skill than strict YOE) * Strong experience developing in a cloud environment, ideally AWS, with a solid understanding of cloud security best practices. * Strong experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.) * Strong experience implementing crash reporting pipelines (Sentry, Crashpad, Breakpad, etc.) * Experience working with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Terragrunt) * Experience with third-party API integration, ensuring secure data exchange and adherence to privacy standards. * Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment. Desired Skills: * Experience with monitoring and visualization tools (Datadog, Grafana) * Experience with endpoint and antivirus software (Microsoft Intune, MalwareBytes, Crowdstrike) * Experience administering IT SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, etc.) * Experience with the gaming industry is a plus.
