What You’ll Do
The Opportunity We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer with a focus on front-end development to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role will help us scale rapidly during a period of high growth, with the potential for conversion to a full-time role upon successful performance. Reporting to our Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for creating responsive, high-performance web interfaces using ReactJS and Typescript. Key Responsibilities

- Front-End Development: Develop and maintain responsive web applications using ReactJS and Typescript, ensuring an excellent user experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers and backend developers to implement seamless, user-centric designs.
- Debugging and Optimization: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues as they arise, and ensure applications are optimized for performance and scalability.
- Testing and Automation: Write and maintain automated tests using Jest to ensure the quality and stability of the codebase.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest ReactJS and front-end development trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
What You Bring
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 4+ years of front-end development experience, with a strong focus on ReactJS and Typescript. Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in ReactJS, React Query, and Typescript.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, especially Jest.
- Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization and scalability best practices. Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. Bonus Points
- Experience with Node.js and backend development.
- Previous experience working in a startup environment.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Passion for improving patient health through technology.
