About The Role

We're seeking an Engineering Lead to accelerate product development and create exceptional user experiences through both traditional engineering excellence and AI integration. This role requires strong hands-on coding skills combined with the ability to strategically integrate AI tools to maximize development efficiency

What You’ll Do

• Writing, reviewing, and maintaining high-quality code
• Managing the engineering workflow, including code reviews, testing practices, and deployment processes
• Leading technical architecture decisions and implementation
• Orchestrating development strategy while leveraging AI tools to accelerate delivery
• Ensuring code quality, performance, and reliability through automated testing and monitoring
• Creating exceptional user experiences through technical innovation and AI capabilities
• Working closely with product teams and other key stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specification
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• 4-8 years of full-stack development experience
• Familiarity with LLM integration and prompt engineering
• Ability to clearly document and communicate technical architecture
• Strong system design skills and ability to make architectural decisions
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines Nice to Have
• Experience with Claude or OpenAI models, particularly for data transformation
• Knowledge of ETL pipelines and data engineering
• Background in conversational AI or virtual assistant development
• Experience transitioning applications from no-code to custom solutions
• Track record of using AI tools to accelerate development cycles
• Experience with home services or marketplace products
• Experience with our current tech stack Tech Stack
• Frontend: React with TypeScript (field app), Webflow (consumer app, being phased out)
• Backend: Node.js + Supabase (field app), Java/Spring Boot managed by Gradle (consumer AI assistant)
• Database: PostgreSQL (via Supabase for field app), mySQL (via AuroraRDS for consumer AI assistant)
• Infrastructure: AWS
• AI Tools: Claude 3.5 Sonnet, OpenAI (including Deep Research), GitHub Copilot, Cursor
