As the People Generalist - EMEA, you will play a critical role on our People Ops team by acting as the first point of contact for our international Vanta’ns and ensuring our international People growth is supported by scaling systems and programs. Given the broad nature of this role, you will have a dotted line reporting relationship to the people business partnership team.

The People Generalist - EMEA, you will play a critical role on our People Ops team by ensuring our international People growth is supported by scaling People Ops systems and programs including employee experience, performance management, onboarding, engagement surveys, and more. You will have the opportunity to iterate on existing People processes and translate business needs into scalable and repeatable solutions. The ideal teammate is motivated, operates with urgency and a positive attitude. This role reports into our Head of People Ops.
What you’ll do as a People Generalist at Vanta:
Advise senior leaders on People Ops strategy on things like People programs best practices, compensation, etc.
Be the first point of contact for international Vanta'ns with People Ops and employee relations questions, providing guidance and support.
Partner with our PBPs & People team to launch Vanta-wide People programs including performance management, compensation cycles, etc. while ensuring the scalability of our programs.
Own all aspects of the employee lifecycle for our international population, including immigration, onboarding, offboarding, transfers, leaves of absences, etc.
Coordinate closely with our People team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to ensure our processes are streamlined across geographies and continually drive effectiveness and efficiency
Process and manage HR documentation, such as employment verifications, parental leave documents, etc.
Collect, track, and maintain HRIS on the international side, ensuring seamless integration with the North American region (NAMER).
Own the benefits program internationally, ensuring alignment with company standards and regional compliance.
Ensure HR policies and procedures meet the needs of Vanta and are in compliance with local laws and regulations.
Plan and execute recurring local celebrations to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Provide ad hoc facilities support to address any workplace-related needs.
How to be successful in this role:
3+ years of HR experience, preferably at a fast scaling start up
Strong knowledge of EMEA employment laws and regulations (APAC a plus)
Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural and remote team environment
Detail oriented, exceptionally communicative, ability to prioritize effectively
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast paced environment
Strong proficiency with Excel a plus
