Our Frontend Engineers own and drive high-impact, user-facing projects at a hypergrowth company that has found product-market fit and is scaling quickly.
Vanta provides a security solution at scale for hundreds of companies that trust us with their most important data. We integrate deeply with our customers’ SaaS providers, infrastructure, and employee laptops to analyze the relationships with that data and surface potential security threats in real time. As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll work closely with Product and Design to surface these complex relationships and threats elegantly. At Vanta, you’ll leverage your expertise of best-in-class web technologies and tools, improving our frontend web architecture and sharing these best practices with the team.

What you’ll do as a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend at Vanta:
Deeply understand our customers and our market to build solutions addressing key pain points and opportunities for competitive advantage
Work closely with cross functional partners to discover, build, and iterate on scalable products that solve our customers’ needs
Design, develop, and own new product functionality leveraging modern frameworks and tooling (TypeScript, React, Node.js)
Drive fundamental decisions for the future of our frontend web architecture
Spread your knowledge of best practices in modern frontend web development: design patterns, tools, and frameworks
Play a part in defining Vanta's engineering culture as we grow
How to be successful in this role:
Have at least 5 years of full time work experience as a software engineer, including 2 years working as a frontend engineer
Have played technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects in the past
Have a proven track record of building 0 to 1 products and features
Have previous startup experience, or worked in an environment that prioritizes a bias for action
Have prior work experience with TypeScript, React and Node.js
Have an interest in learning about security or prior experience in the space

We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below. We hire for this position at multiple levels internally and the base pay range for this position is $163,000 - $223,000. This role may also be eligible for commissions/bonus, equity, medical benefits, 401(k) plan, and other company perk programs.
