As the Manager, Marketing Technology you’ll be responsible for evaluating, implementing, maintaining, ensuring adoption of our marketing tech stack. You will be the point person on technical evaluations and the expert on our existing tech stack capabilities and points of integration.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across Marketing, GTM Operations, Data Engineering, Engineering to implement and manage marketing technology. As the point person for marketing technology you will also be responsible for maintaining system stability and ensuring we are leveraging best practices across our suite of tools.

What you’ll do as a Marketing Technology Manager at Vanta:

  • Tech Stack Management: Own the evaluate, implement and maintenance of the marketing tech stack to improve capabilities. You’ll keep an ear to the ground on industry trends and technology and focus on leveraging our marketing tech stack to enable the scalability of Marketing’s efforts. Manage vendor relationships to stay on top of releases and keep a pulse on best practices to ensure optimization of third-party tools and services.

  • Documentation & Training: Establish and maintain guidelines, documentation, and governance for marketing technology processes and workflows. Provide interactive training and support to internal stakeholders to ensure tool adoption to ensure we are operating as a best in class marketing team. Communicate new enhancements and equip them with the right information to garner adoption.

  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Monitor, test and resolve sync issues across the Marketing tech stack. Be the first line of defense for any issues/bugs and either resolve in-house or escalate and partner with our vendors to resolve. Communicate outages, work on finding temporary workarounds whenever necessary, and continuously keep the team up-to-date on resolutions.

  • Data Management: Oversee data hygiene, quality, and integrity within the HubSpot platform, working closely with the Marketing Operations team, GTM Ops, Data Engineering and GTM Systems teams to ensure the accurate function of complex Data automations and source of truth data sources.

  • Project Management: Work closely with developers, GTM system, and operations teams to implement, enhance, or remove technology. Including the writing of technical requirements, looping in all necessary stakeholders, project timeline and milestone management.

  • Compliance: Ensure that all marketing tech stack is capturing data in adherence to relevant data privacy regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA/CCPR and CAN-SPAM.

How to be successful in this role:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing technology preferably in B2B organizations

  • Experience implementing, administering, and optimizing marketing technology stack

  • Experience with change management and organizational transformation

  • Superior communication skills and proven success in conveying complex concepts, solutions, and relevant business impacts to stakeholders

  • Deep understanding of marketing technologies and their integration with data warehouses, CRMs and analytic platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Tableau etc.)

  • Ability to prioritize requests from various stakeholders and ability to reprioritize when unexpected changes/bugs arise

  • A true collaborator and teammate who focuses on building strong relationships cross-functionally

  • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and resourcefulness

We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below. We hire for this position at multiple levels internally and the base pay range for this position is $144,000 - $169,000. This role may also be eligible for commissions/bonus, equity, medical benefits, 401(k) plan, and other company perk programs.
